Organic Seed Kits
The organic, open-pollinated Four Sisters seed collection, is more commonly known as the Three Sisters, but the southwestern First Nations peoples added a fourth plant, one that attracted bees to help with pollination. What better plant than a giant Fat Mama sunflower with striped edible seeds. Bean and Corn seeds were discovered in an Anasazi Cave in New Mexico.
Includes: Beans Crookneck Squash, Corn and Sunflower Seeds. This group of seeds provides a balanced diet.
The Dye Plant Seed Collection are also organic, open-pollinated seeds. Chamomile provides yellow for dying, Elecampane will yield blue, African Marigold develops a orange and yellow, Nettles offers an array of earthy colors, Our Ladys Bedstraw gives a vibrant red. A must have collection of seeds that provide dyes for natural plant dying. We have also added to this collection a packet of 30 Hopi Sunflower Seeds that the Hopi used for dyeing. The sunflower seeds will create a dye of lavender to black, they will also provide sunflower oil.
